The importance of a distinctive pin buckle

This buckle, available in eleven models has an absolute special feature that lies in the design and workmanship of the barb made by the goldsmith method.

The goldsmith or lost wax method: the craftsmanship of the barb.

When we talk about goldsmithing, we mainly refer to the making of jewelry; in our case, the buckles and the different components that enrich it are also made by this method.

From drawing to design through prototyping, all the stages that invest the finishing process take place here in our factory in Bologna.

In the goldsmithing or lost-wax method of making jewelry, gold is usually used as the metal while we do brass machining and casting for buckle work.

The first operation to be performed is the making, in this case of the barb, from wax.
The making of the barbs then will be done precisely by casting brass into the die where the wax barbs are.

In fact, the brass will take the place of the wax by making the barbs that complete the buckles.

One of the main features of particular barb buckles is its 100% Made in Italy production. Working in our Bologna factory to make the buckles, we have maximum elasticity and freedom in the composition of the accessories.

This also allows us to make custom buckles according to design or buckles with logos.

The thirteenth buckle in the collection is completely different in design but not in making. The whole buckle has a crocodile texture that gives a completely different touch to the target belt.
